Designed to reflect the architectural elements of the Missoula Mercantile Building and Zoo Thai’s nod to Thai street style, this project reclaims concrete as a high-end texture only fitting to pair with our luxury velvet. This juxtaposition of textures and materials showcase the power of digital print and its ability to make the everyday sublime.

Our Director of Surface Design, Chelsea von Hasseln, created a custom concrete repeat for Zoo Thai from a photograph of the actual concrete in the restaurant bar taken by Rio Chantel. The result proves that rough edges and cool tones can have an elegant warmth when paired with the right textile. In addition to the aesthetic edge it brings the space, this design was specifically engineered for echo-reduction to increase the acoustic tone of the vibrant space.
