Land Acknowledgement

Western Sensibility respectfully acknowledges that our studio is situated on the territorial land of the Salish, Pend d’Oreille, and Kootenai peoples. We are committed to an on-going open dialogue with our community and artists about what it means to produce work that recontextualizes traditional “western” art on indigenous land. With a name like Western Sensibility, we simply could not create relevant and meaningful work without the voices of indigenous communities. We honor this sacred place and its beautiful and painful history.
