Our print process isn’t just what we do, it’s who we are.
We’re longtime advocates of digital printing and are continuously in awe of how the technology works and what it can produce. When we set out to create Western Sensibility, we knew that we wanted to build a studio that aligned with our values and utilized sustainable printing processes. Every decision we make in our studio — from print platform to packing tape — is made with the planet in mind. Our digital processes use far less electricity and no water (aside from non-toxic, water-based inks) compared to conventional printing methods like rotary screen or flatbed printing, which still accounts for approximately 90% of textile printing worldwide.
We pride ourselves on quality and thoroughly test our substrates and ink chemistries to ensure the best results in color-to-lightfastness (fading), color-to-washfastness (bleeding), and color-to-crockfastness (ink rubbing-off). Rest assured if the print quality doesn’t meet our standards, it doesn’t leave the production floor.
