Leana Becker
Artist Statement
To put it simply, my process for creating patterns is to first identify what inspires me, and then to explore things from there. I have no way of knowing what the end destination will be, so I joyfully embrace the journey. I can freely create and live in a world of intoxicating ambiguity and wonder.

Leana started her namesake interior design firm in 2012 with an array of experience in hospitality, residential and commercial design.
Leana is committed to collaborating with the best vendors, artists and manufacturers to uphold the highest standards of ingenuity and innovation. She enhances this commitment with a passion for handcrafted details inspired by diverse cultural and artistic influences producing one-of-a-kind pieces for her clients.
Leana Becker, Inc. offers interior design services, as well as custom furniture and home accessories. Leana created LJB Home Design in 2019 when various forces in our industry changed the quality of digitally printed textiles that honor the spirit and craft of traditional forms of textile making. Leana’s patterns are a new take on the old classics—stripes, florals, plaids—all revamped with the warmth and texture of a woven fabric while taking advantage of modern technology. With this barrier broken, Leana supports artists and designers to have their creative voices be heard. Leana aims to transform the way interior designers shop for fabrics by putting the best creative minds in control and making textile design accessible to those who dare to dream.
